So I'm working on a new project at the moment. I'm hoping to have a collection of these portraits made in to a book. More to follow!

Glass bottles, leaves and a ladder.

I've been trying to dedicate a couple of hours a day to personal work. While it's wonderful that I have plenty of commissions and regular work... I do tend to neglect the development of my creative ideas. It's been lovely to sit and draw from my imagination, without the pressure of a brief.
This evening I've been working on a new series of portraits, which I will be able to show you soon.
It turns out that I'm a bit of a night owl at the moment. I've never been much of a morning person.
Tally ho.

This Year...
I love the start of a new year. It's nice to feel a sense of closure and at the same time a new beginning.
This year will be very different for me, but I'm excited about it. I hope to fill it with adventures and laughter.
(...and also some sophisticated glasses!)

Wedding!
I received an email yesterday
with some lovely feedback about my wedding stationery.
I was so pleased to be involved with this wedding;
the theme was a joy to work with!
"Thank you for the wonderful wedding stationary you designed for us!! Just perfect! We were after something that matched our rustic and relaxed wedding style and you did just that! Everyone commented on how wonderful the designs were and that they complimented the wedding. Thanks again - we will definately be contacting you everytime we need some kind of stationary creating!!"

Exciting times!
I'm so happy to see some of my designs featured in Marks and Spencer.
The brief I was given was to create some illustrations using the combination of William Shakespeare and gardening.
It was great fun.

Weather
It's difficult to know what to wear in this weather… One minute it's chilly, the next it's warm! Bear lady has opted for a tank-top. In her opinion it's the 'best of both worlds'.
