Fish Trail.

I have always felt a wee bit guilty about living in Hull and never having done the Fish Trail. I have done it now and I liked it.

I made some soup and a shop.

Hello, I think staring at the laptop screen for too long gives me a headache. I made some nice carrot, lentil and coriander soup today. I also finally created an online Etsy shop. Please take a peek.

I am not quite sure why every time I try to upload an image today, it appears sideways. I have given up. Sigh. These are some ideas for a logo for my website. It will be on a white background and I want it to be quite simple. What do you think?

I never learn.

No matter how many times I do it, I never remember not to put my paintbrush into my cup of tea.

About time.

I'm just painting some logos for my long overdue website. I'm quite indecisive so it could take a while!

people in frames

I put some of my fabric people into box frames. They will appear in Etsy quite soon, so keep your eyes peeled...

If you get up at 2.30 am, you can fit much more into the day.

I went to Ireland last week for a wedding, but also had chance to take a look at some breathtaking scenery.

We walked to the edge of the last cliff which included crossing the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge. Quite rickety!

Some more work from our show...

I apolagise for the composition of this photograph, the work you can see on the right hand side is by Jana. She made a book about the journey she took from becoming pregnant to giving birth and its just beautiful.
The other work is by Jenny Smith. I could look at her work all day long. You should try....http://jennysmithillustrator.blogspot.com/

The Degree Show

It was a couple of weeks ago now, but it was a brilliant and successful evening! I'll put some of the lovely work up so you can see. I feel really proud of everyone, it was nice to see all of the work together. The top picture is my work. The picture below is Sophie Allen's beautiful work.

Family Portraits

I made this concertina book using the images of my fabric people. I thought it would be a nice way to bind them together.

It was in Hull

I found my camera lead.

I made a poster.

I recently made this poster for a club in Hull. The big lettering is made from cut-out bits of paper.

I cannot upload the photographs of my book because my camera lead has vanished! I shall keep on looking...

Last one.

It was out LAST studio day today. I feel excited but a little bit sad. I'll miss our studios. I like the plants. I made my 'family portraits' book today. I will take a picture tomorrow and put it on here!

Dog and Robert.

I did a screen print today called Robert.

I ordered this little party dog from Ashley Goldberg's Etsy this morning. I can't wait for it to arrive in the post. I have always wanted a real dog so this one will have to do for now. I like him.

Little people.

These little houses belonged to my Grandma. I wish you could still buy them. If you look through the back and press the chimney, you see a slide show! If anyone sees one to buy, please tell me. I like them.

I made some more little people today. I have put them on my flikr too. I'm quite sad that there are only a couple of weeks left of university, but also quite excited.

Tulips

Tulips are my favourite flowers. I saw these ones yesterday in someone's garden, they were very tall and an amazing colour.
