My wonderful friend bought me this antique fan necklace. It actually opens and closes...I really love it and I plan to wear it everyday.
During my tidy up the other day, I found this little piece of coral and a wooden yellow hexagon. I like the shapes of both these things. I'm thinking of turning them in to a necklace.
I had a good sort out of all my books the other day......and my work, room and cupboards in general. Things like this only happen on the rare occasions were I want to tidy. I came across a little booklet from 'The Art Of Lee Miller' exhibition I went to a few years ago at the V&A museum in London.
I really love her work. There's something quite magical and otherworldly about it. She was a model, a journalist and a photographer.
Here are a couple of new woodland friends ready to be framed.....or hung up? Not sure yet. They haven't got names yet either. I'm too indecisive for my own good.
I'm currently working on a cloud and moon and raindrops mobile. Watch this space.
