Things I have seen that I like.

I really like the colour of this old motorbike. I also like the brown seat and the light at the front. I'd quite like to ride around on this, I think it's much nicer to look at than modern ones.

I also like these little grates on the walls. I'm not sure what they're for.

Still haven't got my Diana photographs developed! My car has been a bit broken, however it is fixed now....Developing my photos is on the TOP of my to do list for this weekend. The list is growing to be rather long I must say....

What our grandmother's knew.

I found this brilliant little book in a charity shop the other day. It's full of tips for health and the household. Some of which are rather odd and others quite useful! It was printed on 1979....I'm thinking about adding it to the vintage section in my ETSY shop. But I'm finding it difficult to part with...

One of the strangest tips is 'Reviving cheese and ham'..

'Cheese that has gone as hard as wood can be freshened as follows. Steep a rag in white wine and ring it out well. Wrap it around the cheese and leave it for several hours until the cheese has softened. Dried out sliced ham will regain its suppleness and flavour if you leave it to soak in a little milk for 10 minutes.'

NOT NICE.

I want this.

....and this.

They're so cute!

Made by a clever lady called Amelia who lives in New York. She sounds like a really interesting person and makes nice things...http://www.etsy.com/shop/VectorCloud

Hope everyone has had a nice week. I found a couple of nice things whilst walking around a few of Hull's finest charity shops the other day. I shall put a few photographs up soon.

Little bits of paint.

I liked sitting on the grass with bare feet, doing a little bit of painting.
