Some new friends...

Recently, I have been mostly making some new friends, in the form of sewn brooches.

( I have also ben watching some old Fast Show episodes. Brilliant. )

Do you like them? They're quite small.

I made them especially for a wonderful shop called SMUG in Camden. I feel so happy that the lovely folk at SMUG want to have my work for sale there. Check out their website....

I'm currently designing some prints for them too, so keep your eyes peeled.

Thankfully, I don't think their shop was affected by the awful riots that have been happening across the country. I really am lost for words. It really saddens me.

Recently I have been....

......making wedding invitations for a lovely couple! They're finally finished now and I'm rather pleased with the outcome. I'm working on some other designs now, as it's something I'd like to do again. So if you're interested just send me an email!

Exciting things.

Exciting things.....

My work is now for sale in a shop called The Dandy Lion, New Albany, Indiana.....all the way over in America! You should definitely check out their blog.

It looks like a magical shop, I'd love to go! They also have a facebook page, with lots of good pictures.

If you haven't already, take a peek at the sale in my Etsy shop, I want to make way for lots of new work (which is also rather exciting), so I'm having a sale. You can get original paintings like the one above, at a bargain price!

On another exciting note, I'm going to Cruckley Farm tomorrow to feed the goats and sheep and donkeys.....and then I'm going camping at the beach! I'm probably more excited about this than I should be. I love being outdoors, I do wish the North Sea was a little less baltic though.

Have a nice weekend everybody!

Or an original little painting for just £7.00. I will also pop a free greeting card into the parcel... Good eh?

Oh, and I really do love my wooden Muji pencil. I really do.

Sewing and Listening.

This evening I have been sewing some new creatures to send to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park for their gallery shop. Im really pleased that people like these and have bought them! I think I will paint more of a summery background for these ones, seeing as it's summer. (Well it's supposed to be...)

I shall keep you posted.

I'm listening to the Into The Wild soundtrack. I love this film... I thoroughly recommend watching it.

Little cards...

I am a fan of small cards.
I thought I would get some small cards printed with my very own illustrations on them. I like them!
This set of four is now up for grabs in my new FOLKSY shop, at a bargain price. You can have a look here.

I found a treasure!

I'm nearing the end of my wedding invite designs and they'll be ready to print in the next couple of days. I'm rather excited. I took a little break today to take some things to the charity shop. It' a good feeling......
I bought a spectacular little book for 99 pence. I had to share it. It's so strange and good.

'The Dog-faced Baboon is from the Coast of Guinea; it is very ferocious and disgusting when fully grown.'

On a less monkyish note, the flowers I planted are looking nice and colourful...

I like flowers and I like pocket sized books.
